Research funding in Russia

• Russian Foudation for Basic Research was created by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation in 1992. The Fund is located in Moscow.  The main aim of the fund is the support of the basic scientific research. Funds are granted for:
  • Scientific research projects;
  • Publishing of scientific works;
  • Organizing conferences, seminars, etc.;
  • Russian participants of scientific events in the Russian Federation and abroad;
  • Projects on development of experimental base of scientific research, including development and acquisition of equipment, methods and technologie;
• The Russian Human Science Fund was created by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation in 1994. The main aim of the Fund is the support of human science research and distribution of scientific knowledge. The Fund is located in Moscow.
